Karenni National Women's Organization

KNWO is a grassroots organization of Karenni refugee women who have fled to Thailand to escape the multiple atrocities perpetrated by the Burmese military regime. They work to support the empowerment of women, to deliver the essential needs for survival, to protect women from all forms of discrimination and to end the vicious cycle of violence against the Karenni people.
